Apply to the MSFC Board of Directors

Thank you for your interest in the MSFC Board of Directors. The Board is a diverse and dynamic group of leaders from many different backgrounds. The board's responsibilities fall into the following broad categories:

• General: The board is responsible for ensuring that the organization is operating in accordance with its mission and purpose.
• Oversight: The board is responsible for ensuring that the
  organization is well-run. It moderates the power of management and has the power to hire and remove the executive director.
• Fiduciary and fundraising: As part of their fiduciary
  responsibility, the board ensures the organization's long and short-term financial viability. Board members are actively involved in fundraising efforts.

The selection process is highly competitive, and this year's application is online. You can find the links to the applications below. Applications will begin being accepted on November 15th and are due Jan 15th, 2008. It is our hope that you utilize this application to discuss the wide range of personal and professional experiences that have contributed to your success as a leader for choice.
