What We Do
-> MSFC Awards
Medical Students for Choice presents three awards each year to recognize
excellence in achievement.
Dr. Elizabeth Karlin Campus Organizing Award
Named in honor of Dr. Elizabeth Karlin (1944-1998), a pioneering abortion
provider and advocate, this award is presented each year to the MSFC
groups that have excelled the most at educating, mobilizing, and
impacting their campus community throughout the year to achieve MSFC’s
goals. Winning groups will have made permanent improvements in their
school's curriculum, built their MSFC group into a lasting institution
at their school, and effectively educated their medical school campus
community throughout the year. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash awards
are presented to the winning groups at the MSFC
Annual Meeting to help support and further their events
and other activities for the next year.
